Night safe driving

At dusk falls, so our vision. Instead of bright colors and well defined, clear images and easy to follow quick movement, are the main activities, details and color gradations, and our ability to achieve the rapid movement is severely compromised.

At night, we cannot simply rely on our eyes and our vision for what we can in broad daylight - Experts have calculated that night, we see only about a tenth of what it could bring in daylight.

What we see and what we do

Our eyes are actually very well in a wide range of intensity of light - from almost pitch black to bright light. However adapting to each other takes, time. Therefore, the brightness of the light can be so blind - and still be painful - if your eyes are accustomed to the darkness of a quiet country road.

If anything other than natural light, will constantly play catch-up with the information we receive from our eyes. This is a scientific fact - we are all obliged to react more slowly in the night. So intelligent, such as drivers, we adapt our journey with our limited vision, rather than waiting to reach our eyes to level that have not been able to afford the science too.

How can we get to see everyone? Well, that night, we begin to artificial sources of light, and an occasional contribution of the moon.

Hazards

The first source of risk relates to what we really see. Threat cans react to the result of limited vision when it is dark - at least 90 percent of our ability to depend on what we see. We are also sensitive to lights and other distractions on the road to the future.

With these distractions, it is useful to ensure that we need a thorough work of planning a trip, so we are not trying to read a map or directions hastily scribbled in low light. This also means that we can spend 100% on the task of driving, because we know that the road signs, vehicles, pedestrians and other risks, see the more difficult when it is dark.

Tire of driving

Fatigue is also a big risk. Not only is the simple challenge to stay awaking at a time in which the body will naturally slow down and relax, but also the fatigue of the eyes looking straight ahead, with longer periods.

A special effect is that fatigue slows reaction time. We can be proud to react quickly if we are awake and feel fit, but this will inevitably slow down when we are tired.

More precisely, we, in good shape, but we have enough power for the other drivers who were alive - and the wheel - for too long?
